The Emergency Telephone System Board (ETSB) governs the county’s 9-1-1 emergency dispatch service. The board oversees the 9-1-1 system, funding, addressing, and coordination with local police, fire, and EMS agencies so that emergency calls are answered and dispatched reliably.

The Board meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month in the law library of the courthouse.  All meetings are open to the public under the Illinois Open Meetings Act (5 ILCS 120).  Agendas are posted at least 48 hours in advance.

Call 911 for any emergency. The ETSB itself does not take emergency calls.
